The Baltimore Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association serves the Baltimore metro area including Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford and Howard County.

Our goals are to...
  • provide opportunities to network with local Hokies
  • extend Hokie hospitality to local and visiting Hokies, their friends and families.
  • link the alumni and the university.
  • serve our community (Ut Prosim!!)
  • promote the image and reputation of Virginia Tech
  • provide merit based scholarships to future Hokies from our local community.
  • promote alumni pride and spirit for Virginia Tech

  • Are an ALUMNUS of any undergraduate or graduate campus of Virginia Tech
  • Attended Virginia Tech but graduated from another university
  • Are a PARENT of a current or former Virginia Tech student

  • The first Monday of February, May, and November at Union Jacks in Columbia, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, Maryland
  • The August meeting and general elections are held during the Annual Crabfeast.

    Havre de Grace | Dates: 02 May, 2015
    Habitat for Humanity, Home Site is 518 N. Adams Street in Havre de Grace, MD 21078.   For Hokies in Harford County, we will serve at the home site from 7:30AM to 3:30 PM.  To sign up go to https://www.habitatsusq.org/volunteer/construction-volunteers.  All volunteers will create an account and complete the skills/interest from, and then sign the online safety waiver. After that you will take the safety training course, which is just watching a short video and answering some questions. Then you will be directed to the online construction calendar where they can sign up for the group build day on the Saturday, May 2.  Hope you can join us.

    COLUMBIA | Dates: 04 May, 2015
    On Monday, May 4, a chapter-wide networking & planning meeting will be held at Union Jack's in Columbia at 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD starting at 7:00pm.  Chapter meetings are great way to network with alumni in your area and get involved in our organization to socialize, serve and support Virginia Tech.  Brainstorming and planning for upcoming events is done at these quarterly meetings.  If you are interested, please email Tim Fouts or simply come to the meeting.
