The Baltimore Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association serves the Baltimore metro area including Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford and Howard County.

Our goals are to...

  • extend Hokie hospitality to local and visiting Hokies, their friends and families.
  • link the alumni and the university.
  • serve our community (Ut Prosim!!)
  • promote the image and reputation of Virginia Tech
  • provide merit based scholarships to future Hokies from our local community.

    This is one of our premier events returning to a very historic venue to celebrate the young scholar who will be awarded our academic scholarship to attend Virginia Tech in the fall.  Our speaker will be Major General Randal Fullhart, Commandant of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.

    On-street parking is available after 6 p.m.  Parking lots in the area include the Walters Museum lot at Centre & Cathedral and the Maryland Historical west of the Club on Monument Ave. Valet parking is available at the Peabody Court Hotel.

    Reservations are required
    , $35/per person.  Reservations include a beautiful pasta dinner prepared by the Engineer’s Club's fabulous local chefs.  Cocktails will be available from a cash bar starting at 6pm.  Dinner service will begin at 7pm.  Reservations can be made via PayPal using the link below or by sending your check to the Baltimore Chapter VTAA, c/o Jim Fulton, 62 Benson Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136.  If you have questions, contact Tim Fouts at tfouts@baltimorehokies.org

    Hokies, sunshine, seafood in beautiful Patapsco State Park, is there anything better?  The Crabfeast price will include all you can eat crabs, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn, soft drinks as well as adult beverages. We also offer a PICNIC price for non-crab eaters.  VT Memorabilia (including Frank Beamer signed footballs) will be raffled!!  A portion of the proceeds benefit the Baltimore Chapter Scholarship Fund.
